All applicants must have successfully completed High School or an acceptable equivalent or be at least 19 years of age.
All applicants must submit a completed Application form to the Blanche Macdonald Centre. An interview with an Admissions Director is required. For applicants who live out of town or out of the country, interviews can be conducted over the telephone. Proof of English skills for ESL applicants are required. TOEFL or TOEC scores must be forwarded to the school or an internal English proficiency test will be administered. ESL students must meet the Blanche Macdonald Centre English Assessment requirements before acceptance into their chosen program.
All Applicants must pay their Tuition deposits in full and sign their Official Enrolment Agreements before they are considered officially enrolled in a program. Letters of Acceptance for Funding or Immigration purposes are issued once the above criteria have been met. Once you have been accepted into your desired program at Blanche Macdonald, it is essential that you process your registration as early as possible. To ensure small class sizes and a high student teacher ratio, it is necessary for the college to limit enrolment. For students who wish to have a preferred program starting date or for those students who are applying for Student Loan funding, advance registration is strongly advised.
