Students with preexisting medical, psychiatric or substance related conditions that may interfere with their ability to complete the training program require a letter of recommendation from a recognized practitioner, as requested by the Registrar. Admissions interview with the Registrar or Assistant Registrar is required for acceptance into all KCPC programs. These are scheduled by phone by invitation after completing and submitted your CAA.
Please see KCPC website for any additional admission requirements. A signed Student Enrollment Contract (SEC) is required to be submitted prior to acceptance and after the interview.
Complete and send in the Counsellor Aptitude Assessment (CAA) along with a $90.00 registration fee. The CAA can also be completed online and emailed to the Registrar.
All applicants are required to have a face-to-face or telephone interview with an Admission Advisor. Responses to the questions on the CAA, plus the admissions interview, will help determine if KCPC is the best educational option for you. All student information is kept confidential. You will need to provide approval of tuition or source funding prior to beginning your courses. The Admissions Advisor can assist you when student loan or other funding applications are required. You can enroll in the program of your choice by phone, in person or online. Please see KCPC's website for any additional admission requirements.
