Although the student need not have prior study in the area of hairdressing or nails, an enjoyment of working with people in a one on one situation is a must. The program is taught in English, therefore, a working knowledge of English is required.Students, which have a level of education less than grade twelve must have acceptance from the instructor. Other requirements include being 19 years of age prior to the start of the course or have mature student status. If under the age of 19, written permission from a legal guardian is required.
