Applicants must have Grade 12 or equivalent, or be at least 19 years of age. Applicants must also take a PAVI multiple choice entrance exam covering grammar, basic problem solving and general knowledge.

PAVI's goal is to accept students who are serious about acquiring the technical and business training, and the expertise necessary to achieve success in the audio and visual fields. The program in which the prospective student enrols is ultimately a mutual decision reached by the student and the school, and aims to best suit the student's long term goals and objectives.
