Quebec high school students must meet the minimum academic requirement for admission to all John Abbott College programs. This includes a Quebec high school diploma including grade 10 Physical Science and Mathematics. Applicants with Canadian Secondary School certificates other than the Quebec Secondary diploma are required to have completed an equivalent high school diploma from their province.

John Abbott is affiliated with le Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM), which processes student applications. Applications to John Abbott must be submitted to SRAM first before being evaluated by the College. Applications may be obtained from the Admissions Office or online by visiting John Abbott's web site.
