To register for a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC), students must have completed a high school diploma or its equivalent.

To register for an Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC), applicants must be 18 or over and have interrupted their studies for at least one full school year.

Required Documents:

• Birth certificate or proof of citizenship.
• High school diploma and transcript.
• Official transcript of post-secondary studies, if applicable.
• Proof of residence, if Quebec resident.
• Working resume (CV) for AEC programs.

Students who register in a program for a period of less than 6 months can come and study in Canada on a tourist visa. You do need a study permit if you are planning to take a course or program in Canada with duration of six months or more. Since Canada has two levels of Government, Federal and Provincial, foreign students who wish to study in the Province of Quebec must first obtain a Quebec Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ).
