Requirements for Canadian Students

The Senior Secondary program requires a "C" average in Grade 10 or 11 and the University Transfer program requires Senior Secondary completion with a minimum Grade of "C" in four academic Grade 12 subjects or equivalent thereof.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Applications are accepted until the end of late registration (the end of the first week of classes), subject to program reaching maximum capacity.

Procedure for International Students

The College operates a rolling admission system. Unless otherwise requested, students accepted are offered places in the next semester, subject to space availability and the lead-time needed to acquire a student authorization to permit study in Canada. Early application is recommended, supported by all required transcripts and other documentation. An application form can be downloaded from the College’s Web site at www.columbiacollege.ca.

Notes:The calendar year is divided into three semesters beginning in January, May, and September. An academic year of studies can normally be completed in 2 semesters (8 months). The year round intensive English language program is organized into one-month modules and offers 12 entry points a year.
