The McGill M.B.A. program is an intensive intellectual challenge. Admissions criteria are strict and the decisions are based on many factors. Your undergraduate degree and any further academic qualifications are important indicators of intellectual ability; excellent performance is expected. All candidates must take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) in order to provide further information about managerial potential.
Applicants must have two years of full-time work experience. The Admissions Committee will also be interested in your extracurricular pursuits, letters of reference, and your work experience. The program is designed for students with high achievement objectives and McGill is looking for applicants with strong indications of managerial potential.
All applicants are urged to submit their application for the September intake as soon after January 1 of the year in which they wish to apply. Normally admissions decisions are made within eight weeks after receipt of a completed application with all supporting documents. The application deadline for all applicants is February 15. Applications must be accompanied by a $100.00 application fee. Certified cheques or money orders should be made payable to McGill University. This fee reflects the cost of processing. It is not refundable, nor is it applied against tuition.
