Requirements for Canadian Students

American University of Integrative Sciences welcomes applicants of all races, nationalities, religion, age, and gender who are committed to sharing the vision of the university and are committed to the dedication and time necessary for the practice of medicine.

Applicants to AUIS must have completed a minimum of 90-semester credits (135 quarter credits) of undergraduate studies, which include specific pre-medical requirements or their equivalents, from an accredited college or university, and have achieved a competitive Undergraduate GPA.

The University also recommends students pursue a broad range of related scientific (Anatomy, Microbiology, Physiology) and humanities (English, Art) studies to supplement their prerequisite knowledge.

Applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the biological or health sciences may be considered to have satisfied the above pre-requisite requirements as determined by the Admissions Committee.

Applicants must have achieved a passing grade on each of the prerequisite courses, and have completed them within four (4) years prior to the application, unless they have demonstrated active work in the discipline.

  • Organic Chemistry I w/Lab
  • Organic Chemistry II w/Lab
  • Inorganic Chemistry I w/Lab
  • Inorganic Chemistry II w/Lab
  • College Math (Any)

Procedure for Canadian Students

Students seeking admission to AUIS must complete the following application process:

1. Submit an application for enrollment and accompanying application fee.
2. Submit the following documentation:
a. Unofficial transcripts from previously attended institutions
b. Two (2) signed letters of recommendation
c. Current Resume or CV
3. Participate in a telephone or Skype interview with the Admissions Committee.

Please Note: All previous institutions student attended must be disclosed at the time of the application.

Students who are accepted to AUIS will be required to submit "official" copies of transcripts from all previously attended institutions, both graduate and undergraduate, by fifteen (15) weeks from the start date. Students who fail to produce official transcripts within the allotted time may be administratively withdrawn.
