As the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) will recognize degrees from Bible Colleges accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), the faculty of LTS has decided to recognize such degrees as well, even though the University of Saskatchewan does not. The Seminary reserves the right to ask for more general education courses (such as English, history, sociology, philosophy, psychology) if such are not part of a Bible College bachelor’s degree.

One year of university or the equivalent of one year of university (30 semester hours) is required as prerequisite for taking any course for credit and/or for attending Lutheran Theological Seminary with the goal of obtaining academic credit.
