Every student who attends Acadia Divinity College is substantially subsidized. Even when the student pays total tuition, much of the cost of his or her training is paid for by the College, the Convention, the churches, alumni, businesses, and individuals. Acadia Divinity College has some of the lowest tuition rates in Canada for graduate school programs. Those who pay the full tuition fees still pay only about one third of the actual costs, but most students receive up to 65% of their tuition through generous gifts to the College and from endowments and a grant for the United Baptist Convention of the Atlantic Provinces. Bursaries are distributed on the basis of demonstrated need.
