Bodwell College has three exciting program components at different locations in the beautiful city of Vancouver: Bodwell High School offers co-ed day and boarding for Grades 8 to 12; Bodwell Language School offer English training to students 16 and older, with a strong university preparation program for high school graduates from overseas to improve English and academic skills before entrance to University of Alberta and University of Northern British Columbia; and Bodwell’s University Summer Programs are offered in the campuses of University of British Columbia and University of Victoria in July and August every year for international students age 7 to 17.
Bodwell High School accepts Canadian and international students from around the world, currently with 380 students. Features of the school include a rigorous curriculum with wide range of extra curricular activities, well supervised dormitories, and students' wonderful achievement in university admissions and inter school sports and events.
For all programs in Bodwell, we offer carefully arranged homestay accommodation, which is available for $800.00 to $1,000.00 per month, depending on age. Homestay provides students with a private room and three meals a day.
An orientation session will be scheduled for the first few days of the semester.
Bodwell strives to develop confidence in each of our students through active involvement in all areas of their lives. The Student Services Department provides academic guidance and social/emotional counselling for students on an individual basis. Frequent communication with parents/guardians regarding the progress of their children ensures the success of our young people. The Student Services Department is also responsible for supervising the student dormitory and the homestay program.
Bodwell High School offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities to meet our objective of fostering positive, creative, and well balanced personalities in young people. Numerous musical events, theatre trips, educational tours, sports programs, and outdoor adventures are available to students.
Further, teachers and counsellors work together to get students involved. Regular sports and club activities are held during lunch hours and in the afternoons throughout the week.
Students have access to 300 high end computers. All have speedy Internet access and free e-mail accounts for students.
All schools emphasize multiculturalism. Students are encouraged to learn and experience Canadian and other cultures.
All properties are accessible by the physically handicapped.
