Canadian Flight Centre was founded in 1979 by Ron Harcus, the owner and Chief Flying Instructor. Canadian IFR rating, the parent company for Canadian Flight Centre, was the first flight school in Canada to offer only advanced instrument training for the professional pilot. Over the years, over 2,000 pilots have trained with our company.
We are located at the Boundary Bay Airport in Delta, British Columbia and are open seven days a week. We have five full-time and two part-time instructors who operate an all Piper fleet. Over half of our students are from countries outside North America, making us one of the largest international flight training institutions in Western Canada. Our excellent location provides ideal weather and terrain for flight training with everything from snow and mountains to sunshine and ocean.
The Professional Pilot program includes the Private Pilot License, the Night Rating, Multi Engine Instrument Rating, and the Commercial License. The Instructor Rating is optional and can be started when the Professional Pilot program is completed.
We can arrange accommodation at local houses for about $700.00 to $750.00 per month. Please ask for more details.
The school maintains a fleet of Piper planes including the Cherokee, Warrior, and Seminole, as well as Cessna 152s.
