Student graduate advisors provide instructional job search workshops on a regular basis specifically developed to prepare students for entry in, or a successful return to, the work force. Topics include resume writing, interviewing skills, accessing the hidden job market, networking, cover letters, and other valuable job search strategies to successfully find employment.
Each Saturday (excluding holiday weekends) from September through the end of May, the Columbia Learning Society offers free workshops from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These workshops cover a variety of topics such as computer applications training, communication skills, study skills, and other topics.
