The College was founded in 1986 and its mission is to foster effective and ethical traditional Chinese medical (TCM) doctors. The College’s objectives are to provide deep and wide training in TCM, promote medical ethics, help students develop an interest in life-long learning and cultivate TCM research.
The College has been registered under, and accredited by, the Private Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA) of BC (in Canada) since May 2000. The College’s programs have been approved for a period of three years by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA), which is the official professional licensing authority for acupuncturists, herbalists, TCM practitioners and doctor of TCM in British Columbia, Canada.
The College’s programs are designed according to the educational by-law of CTCMA of BC. The programs may allow graduates to qualify for licensing examinations in most parts of the world where licensing examinations are available.
