York Construction Academy is a Private Career College that is Registered with the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. We officially opened our doors in 2001 and have had 900 successful graduates to date. YCA provides individuals with a hands-on-learning experience that is specifically designed to prepare them for the Construction and Renovations industry.

25% theory and 75% hands-on-training in: Framing, Rough Carpentry, Window, Door Installation, Flooring Installation (hardwood, laminate and ceramic), Tile Setting, Basic Plumbing, Basic Electrical, Drywall Installation (taping, finishing, plastering, painting), Reading and Interpreting Blueprints.
