Marianopolis College is the only school of its kind offering pre-university studies in English. For more than 100 years, Marianopolis has prepared motivated students for the world's top universities. Recognized as one of the top pre-university colleges in Quebec, Marianopolis has a diverse student body of about 2,000 students culled from the top graduates from about 175 high schools, public and private, English and French, from across the province and abroad.
In addition to the Diploma of Collegial Studies, students can earn a college certificate of specialization in areas such as Honours Sciences, Law and Social Justice, International Studies, Honours Commerce, and Third World Studies.
Academic and personal counselling are provided for free to all students.
All counselling is strictly confidential and free.
From intramural sports leagues and intercollegiate teams to invitational tournaments and sports clubs, Marianopolis offers a wide variety of physical activities to students, in both individual and team sports, including weekly opportunities to play against teachers. Facilities are also available for weight training and field sports.
For over 100 years, Marianopolis has focused its many resources on supporting students in the classroom and beyond. Marianopolis is the only college to hold a universal break, also called Activity Period, twice a week. Activity Period is an opportunity for students to hear from world-renowned guest speakers, play intramural sports, participate in clubs and generally grow outside class.
Marianopolis has over 80 student clubs, more than any school of its kind.
