Sports

There are many opportunities to be involved in recreational sports at PRBI. Physical fitness and recreational sporting activities are vital in order to maintain a sharp and growing mind. We are in the process of growing our fitness centre to provide students with a complete workout. The fitness centre includes equipment such as a universal gym, treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights and more. The Dynamos Basketball Team is a recreational basketball team that plays in the Clayton Shaw Basketball League, B Division. We also have a Dynamos Hockey Team and a Dynamos Volleyball team. These teams are not quite as competitive as the Ambassador Teams, and do not require the same amount of time commitment.

Activities

Throughout the year students participate in a number of functions such as: water balloon mania (an outreach), youth rallies, outreaches through community groups, running youth events in local churches, foreign missionary opportunities, and sports ministries.

Clubs

Students are given the opportunity to choose a care group where accountability, encouragement and the love of Christ are demonstrated. These groups meet weekly and are involved in ministry both on and off campus. The student leadership, as chosen from the student body and approved by the Deans, consists of Care Leaders, Residence Leaders, Student Body President, Vice President, and Secretary Treasurer. Care Leaders are responsible for leading a Care Group, while other students plan activities and ministries within the body.

Information Technology

Audiovisual equipment is available for viewing and / or listening to educational media, and computers are available for writing papers, creating projects, as well as e-mail and internet access.
