Living in residence makes the transition to being on your own easy, convenient and fun. Seneca residences at the Newnham and King campuses are composed of suite-style units containing two private bedrooms, a bathroom and ensuite kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. Each bedroom has a double bed, desk, chair, closet and dresser, as well as cable TV, Internet access and a phone line.
Students also have access to group study lounges, common kitchen, laundry rooms, and social lounges for games, movies and other social activities. Each campus offers Wi-Fi access and has a Computing Commons (open access computing facility) where you'll find computers equipped with a full range of software and Internet services. You can also get technical support, print, scan and work on individual or group assignments here. We support you in your studies with leading-edge and accessible information technology resources and services. As a new student, we can help you set up your student account and wireless connections. Technical support is available 24/7. We also offer 72-hour laptop rentals from Friday to Monday.
Counselling and Accessibility Services offer support for current students trying to manage the complexities of postsecondary life. Our services can help you fulfill your personal and academic potential through individual and/or group supports.
First Peoples@Seneca is dedicated to supporting Indigenous students (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) on our campuses. Services included, advisement, tutoring, mentoring, workshops, cultural teachings and social events.
International Student Services is a resource for student supports at Seneca for international students. If you're an international student, we can provide you with program information and details on how to apply and offer specialized support including airport pick up. Our certified immigration practitioner can help with visa, study and work permits.
Interested in travelling the world while obtaining credits at Seneca? Student Exchange programs are formal agreements between Seneca and partner institutes that allow you to study abroad and earn credits towards your Seneca credential. We also offer a Mobile Intensive Learning Experience (MILE) where students have an opportunity to study and travel while earning credits towards their academic credential during study breaks.
