The Canadian College of English Language is located in downtown Vancouver's prestigious Coal Harbour area. We have our own seven story campus with 27 classrooms, a spacious lounge, two computer labs, and a roof top garden. We generally house 200 to 450 students from 25 countries and have a strict nationality quota of 30%. We offer English programs (ESL) to international students starting every Monday year round. CCEL is Canadian owned and operated and is accredited by PELSA, PCTIA, Tourism Vancouver, FIYTO, and ALTO.

Areas of Expertise

Academic Year 20, 30, or 40 weeks starting in January, March, April, May, September, and October. Over 52 electives including TOEFL, TOEIC, Business, Tourism, Conversation, Grammar, Public Speaking, Accent Reduction, Pronunciation, and Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE, and BEC. Executive and Mature programs for students 30 and older at the same cost! Youth Vacation programs for 12 to 17 years olds in January, July, and August. Unique ESL Plus program in Golf, Fly Fishing, and Scuba Diving Training. Office Worker and Senior's ESL tours. A unique nine day ESL/Dolphin Lab and Marine Mammal Experience in Florida. Top Cambridge exam results in Canada in 2005-2006 for CAE, CPE, and FCE.

Incoming Students

Activities

Weekly activities are available at CCEL. Most popular activities are whale watching, skiing, snowboarding, ranch trips, ocean kayaking, and river rafting.
