The Faculty of Medicine is committed to the advancement of health through education, research, and exemplary patient care for the well being of the society we serve. The Faculty of Medicine bears special responsibility to the communities of the Ottawa / Carleton region, the Franco / Ontarian community, and affiliated communities of Northern and Eastern Ontario. To fulfill these responsibilities, the Faculty of Medicine seeks to prepare a sufficient number of our students to function professionally in both official languages.
