Welcome to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and to Concordia's first graduate degree, the Master of Information Systems Security Management (MISSM). This is an exciting time for Concordia as we move into graduate education with a unique and timely program, one of only two of its kind in Canada. Information security is vital to government, to business, to education, and to all aspects of modern society that depend on computing and the safe exchange of information. It is appropriate that Concordia's inaugural graduate program be in this area, as it underlines our institution's commitment to higher learning, to the ethical pursuit of knowledge, and to public service.
