Yukon University is a flexible, post-secondary institution grounded in research and education relevant to the North.

We prioritize the uniqueness of the North as a driving factor in all that we do to preserve, thrive and grow the Yukon, together.​ With tailored learning opportunities and programs, our 13 campuses play a critical role in delivering education throughout the Yukon. We invite students from across Canada and the world to come study with us and learn more about Canada’s north.

Areas of Expertise

Yukon College provides quality programming. Most Yukon College programs are fully or partially transferrable to other Canadian universities and/or colleges. Graduates from our programs are also recognized and valued by employers. Ninety-eight percent of our graduates would refer a friend or family member to Yukon College.

Many of our programs include a unique Northern perspective including: Northern Environmental Studies; Northern Justice and Criminology; Renewable Resources, Environmental and Conservation Sciences; Yukon Native Teacher Education, Heritage and Culture; and several others.

Career Planning

Personal Counselling Services provides you with handouts, workbooks and worksheets to support you in your academic and personal journey. Some of these topics can be difficult to read about, do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to explore these topics, discuss or arrange an appointment. We are here to support you!

Sports

Registered students and current staff are eligible to use the athletics and recreation facilities.
