Clarkson College was founded in 1888, by Bishop Robert H. Clarkson, in order to establish a hospital in Nebraska.

Clarkson College has a Success Center, which allows students to take advantage of assessment testing, counselling, academic skills development, tutoring, educational workshops, and career planning and placement. Clarkson College continues to serve students after graduation by linking them to opportunities that may fit their individual needs.
