New Student Orientation
At MacEwan's New Student Orientation—held in the fall and the winter each year—you learn about the practical, the academic and the social sides of campus life. You also begin to build a network of familiar faces—and we all know how important that can be when you're starting something new. Career Services provides career education and employment services to help MacEwan University students and graduates make a meaningful connection between their education and the world of work. Services include workshops in resumé writing, and job search and interview preparation. Job opportunities are available online.
MacEwan Sport and Wellness, located in the Christenson Family Centre for Sport and Wellness at City Centre Campus, hosts a newly expanded 7,000 square foot fitness area, a 25-metre pool, a 40-person hot tub, a beautiful three-court gymnasium, steam rooms and squash courts. Our City Centre Campus gym is 18,000 square feet, which can house two full-sized basketball courts, three full-sized volleyball courts or six badminton courts. Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) offers a range of services to foster the full and self-directed participation of students with disabilities in courses and other academic activities.
