In order to prepare for your career choices and career path after university, Hult offers all students a comprehensive Career Management Course. In the course, you will:
- Build your resume, portfolio and network of professional contacts.
- Learn to use strategies in career building, including individual decision-making.
- Learn how to approach,design, and write effective resumes, cover letters, and job applications.
- Improve your presentation and interview skills upon completion of the course, as well as work one-on-one with a member of Hult’s Career Services team to focus your career choices, get career advice and prepare a customized career development program.
You will also gain access to our online careers database throughout the course, which provides resume postings, company information, and job listings.
There are various Sports Clubs at our campuses in San Francisco, Boston, Dubai, Shanghai and London.
Each incoming cohort of students has an elected body called the Hult Student Association (HSA). This group meets with representatives of the school on a monthly basis to ensure that student voices are heard and that their views are represented on matters that have a direct bearing on the quality of the student experience.
There are many ways to get involved in your campus. You may also consider establishing a club yourself to show your commitment to an industry or to pursue your interested area. At Hult, you will never be lacking for something to do, and you will always be able to find someone with whom to do it! Friendships that are forged over the year become one of the most memorable parts of your business school experience.
Virtual tutors will comprise of Hult faculty members and VIP guests from industry who will present engaging topics that can be accessed by Hult students all around the world and on demand. Virtual tutorials are designed to add value to the existing curriculum and to supplement offline learning.
At Hult, we emphasize celebrating diversity and bridging cultures. It is expected that students, as future leaders in their respective fields, will develop the thorough and necessary cross-cultural skills to overcome barriers that cultural divides often pose. Student Services plan a full range of activities to help you take advantage of your time in the campus city and help you learn as much as possible about other cultures. Students are encouraged to participate both in the planning and in the celebrations shared throughout the year.
Hult’s Executive Speaker Series brings guests from a wide range of industries to campus to speak to students on a regular basis. From Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, to Michael Dukakis, former U.S. Presidential candidate and former Governor of Massachusetts, Hult attracts an impressive array of guest speakers. We make sure you get out of the classroom and in front of some of the best business people and companies out in the market. Hult organizes visits to a variety of companies, exposing you to current business realities; past visits have included a private tour of Bao Steel, one of the world’s largest steel companies, based in Shanghai.

The Hult Global Case Challenge is the world’s most prestigious business school competition, offering a USD1 million prize. Spearheaded by the Hult Consulting Club, the event is run simultaneously across all of the Hult campuses, and brings together teams from the top-business schools on the planet. These teams tackle a case challenge set in conjunction with a leading social cause. In keeping with the school’s focus on practical education, the USD1 million prize money is donated to the charity to help implement the winning idea.
Last year saw over 300 business school students from Hult, Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, INSEAD, Columbia, and other renowned schools present their strategies to help One Laptop per Child redefine the way the poorest children in the world learn. This annual competition is a fantastic showcase for Hult student talent, and provides a platform for business school students to meaningfully address a major social problem.
