Generally, the College requires a Grade 12 or equivalent as the basic entrance requirement to a program. However, most programs have specific requirements that are unique to that area of study. The three predominant criteria used in the selection process are academic performance, suitability for the field of study, and related work experience and/or any other training (high school and post-secondary).
International applicants must:
- Fill out an application form.
- Meet specific program prerequisites.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the English language and/or TOEFL manual score of 550, TOEFL computerized score of 225, successful completion of ESL Level 8, or IELTS score of 6.0.
- Provide a transcript.
- Provide two letters of reference.
The International Student Fee is $3,000.00. This fee is in addition to the respective base tuition for each Holland College program. Certain exceptions may apply and International Fee Information should be verified with the Admissions Office. Additional expenses include housing, food, textbooks, supplies, and medical insurance.
Applications to Holland College are accepted throughout the year; however, there are specific student selection dates for programs beginning in September, November, January, and March. For programs beginning in September, the initial round of selection includes all applications received by the end of February. Priority in acceptance is given to applications received before the selection dates.
