Every year, hundreds of students come to Holland College from across P.E.I., from other parts of Canada, and from around the world. Some are straight out of high school, others have been to university, and some others have been in the work force. All of them come here to get the education, experience, and skills that will take them closer to their life and career goals.



Holland College offers over 60 full-time programs in the following areas:

Areas of Expertise

Applied research projects are effective ways to solve practical problems; create new products, processes and services; and conduct social research. The Office of Applied Research supports economic prosperity in Prince Edward Island by actively seeking collaborations for Holland College programs with industry and community groups.



Holland College faculty and students participate in applied research projects in the areas of applied sciences, engineering technology, information technology, food product development, industrial trades and technology, public safety, visual arts, health and social sciences, or even performing arts.

If you want to live in Glendenning Hall or the Cumberland Residence on the Prince of Wales Campus residences located in Charlottetown, apply for a room at the same time as you apply for a program. You will not be offered a residence room until you have been accepted into a program.

Off Campus Housing

A list of privately owned accommodations in the Charlottetown, Summerside, Georgetown and West Prince areas are available through Student Services.

There's always a storm brewing at Holland College! The Hurricanes have earned national recognition for their success, sportsmanship and the highest number of CCAA Academic All Canadian Athletes for the past several years! International Involvement

If you are interested in studying abroad, Holland College, located in Prince Edward Island, Canada, could be just right for you! Holland College is an internationally recognized leader in hands-on, skills-based training. Many of our international students choose to stay in Prince Edward Island over the summer, when there are plenty of jobs. And our graduates are finding jobs, too!
