While admission requirements vary in each program, the minimum requirement for admission to any of The Glenn Gould School programs is the same. First, the student must have demonstrated a high level of musical proficiency through auditions. Second, the applicant must have earned the equivalent of a secondary school diploma (and undergraduate degree or diploma for Artist Diploma applicants).

First, the student must have demonstrated a high level of musical proficiency through auditions. Second, the applicant must have earned the equivalent of a secondary school diploma (undergraduate degree or diploma for Artist Diploma programs). Also, a TOEFL score of 600 paper-based/250 computer-based or higher for international students is required. Auditions: Round 1 - February 2003 and Round 2 - May 2003.
