In April 2022, Ryerson University changed its name to Toronto Metropolitan University, which will be implemented in a phased approach. You will see the Ryerson name being used online and in our official communications for a period of time.

TMU has three on-campus residence buildings with approximately 1,144 beds. There are a range of room styles, including two- to four-bedroom apartments, single bedrooms with shared hallway washrooms and some individual rooms with private washrooms. You'll have an opportunity to identify your preferred room style in your residence application.
The off-campus Housing Office helps students to navigate the housing and renting market in Toronto. They have resources and tools to help students with their search from start to finish.

The Career Centre at TMU offers students programs and resources in developing effective job search strategies, accessing internship opportunities, exploring career possibilities, and employment opportunities.
The Department of Athletics and Recreation administers the Recreation and Athletics Centre (RAC), the Mattamy Athletics Centre (MAC), and varsity athletics. Visit TMU's website to learn more.
The TMU Students' Union sponsor many student clubs and cultural associations. Please see campus groups and student groups available on our website.
The Library has over 250 desktop computers available for you to use. These computers are available in open areas and labs on the main (2nd), 3rd and 6th floors of the library, with a few machines on floors 5-10. Tours run once a day at 10 a.m. and are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you would like to see the Ted Rogers School of Management, the tour may last up to two hours. Tours are not available on weekends or holidays. See Visits and Tours for more information.
Students can obtain confidential career, academic, and personal counselling at the Student Development and Counselling Centre. The school also offers a Health Centre to provide patients with a wide range of services including the treatment of illnesses and routine examinations.
