UNB offers nationally recognized degree programs in Arts, Business, Computer Science, Education, Environment & Natural Resources, Kinesiology, Nursing, Science and Law. UNB Fredericton offers some unique programs such as Leadership Studies (through Renaissance College), Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering, Forestry, Environmental Management, and combined degrees with Arts and Computer Science or Arts and Science.
You can choose from 13 different residences on the Fredericton campus- including co-ed, all-male, and all-female. Each house has different traditions and events throughout the year, many of which support charity. Residences are located on campus, just a minute's walk from your classes.

Fall Orientation is a weeklong campus-wide welcome. We want your first days on campus to set the tone for your university career - exciting, worthwhile, and fun! We also want you to be well prepared to make the transition to university successfully. Your orientation will cover all areas of university life so that you can stress less and focus more - on your studies, your career plans, and all the new experiences awaiting you at UNB.
UNB offers personal career counselling through Student Services, or students can use the career connections website to learn about themselves through personality tests, find career ideas, gain insights into the job market and more.
The UNB Fredericton Varsity Reds compete in men's basketball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, men's hockey and swimming. The Varsity Reds compete in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport league.
UNB Fredericton also offers a full roster of intramural sports including: softball, ultimate frisbee, outdoor soccer, ball hockey, basketball, volleyball and more. Club sports teams include: Baseball, cross country, field hockey, football, judo, rugby, softball, wrestling and more.
